For the third year, Sassi has been awarded the prestigious AAA “4 Diamond” award. Sassi is one of only a few independent restaurants in the greater Phoenix- Scottsdale with this award. More information on the AAA’s “Diamond Awards” program click here:

Sassi has been awarded the Wine Spectator Magazine's "Award of Excellence" for 2012, the third consecutive year. Sassi's wine list offers more than 250 Italian wines from all of the major wine producing areas of Italy including Piemonte, Tuscany and Southern Italy, with a variety of moderately priced wines as well as older vintages from icons of Italian wine including Bruno Giacosa, Ceretto, Angela Gaja and others. Wines by the glass always include lesser known grapes as well as popular choices such as Chianti Classico, Prosecco and Verdicchio.

Entertainment in the Sassi Bar

Enjoy live music every Friday and Saturday evening in the Sassi Bar, beginning at 6:00 pm. Mosaico performs on Friday evenings, playing a variety of music inspired by the sounds of Spain, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Saturdays at 6:00 enjoy the jazz piano and vocal music of Rich Howard. Rich has performed in Phoenix and Tuscon in a musical career of more than 25 years. The Sassi Bar opens at 5 pm Tuesday - Sunday with a Happy Hour menu available from 5 pm to 7 pm, with cocktails, wines by the glass and a selection of menu items all for $7.
